Obligatory Guilt is the interesting concept of payback we as adult children feel toward our parents. Its something we all face in some aspect but is it even necessary or is it a construct we created? For some cultures it is expected, but others not, and still this concept of boundaries between our lives as children and adults is blurred. This is my take on obligation and guilt associated with being an adult child.
